The Heart of Sicily (2019)

SYNOPSIS

There is an ‘unexpected’ Sicily, intimate and hidden, where the sea is absent and the fog is unexpected. It is
the interior of the island, crossed over the centuries by different civilizations: Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Arab
and Norman. Despite this, this land shows an identity that is peculiar and true to itself. From Enna, the
geometric center of the island, to Caltanissetta, from the mosaics of Piazza Armerina to the Greek Theater of
Morgantina, the heart of the island, marked by myth, has created a strong and ancient link with the
inhabitants.
